Responsible for TPM implementation for equipment installation, maintenance and repair. Responsible for all aspects of design, installation, operation, construction and protection of physical facilities.Specific DutiesRESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY1.Implements and maintains procedural and computer systems for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) of all production equipment and related Operational Excellence (OPEX) standards.2.Directs the maintenance and repair of manufacturing and process equipment.3.Supervises the activities of technical personnel, skilled workers and contractors to achieve efficient and effective maintenance operations.4.Participates in equipment selection and directs the installation of new equipment; SPA for equipment disposal.5.Directs facility projects and maintenance; reviews and approves all facility-related expenses. Prepares documents needed for approval of facility capital project funds.6.Responsible for facility compliance to applicable regulatory codes.7.Orders equipment repair parts and supplies. Maintains associated records and stock levels. 8.Budget and cost control responsibilities for parts, supplies and expenses. Negotiates best value price, terms and conditions on purchases.9.Manages contractors involved with plant facilities, equipment and maintenance.10.Oversees facility fire and physical security systems to ensure effective protection of property and personnel.11.Interfaces with utility providers.12.Actively supports plant ABS projects.13.Manages all site mobile equipment and related safety requirements.14.Maintains compliance with Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping procedures.15.Directs the activities of subordinates; makes recommendations for hire, disciplinary action, and promotion.RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS1.Creates and supervises effective Maintenance Team.
